ADVICE & IDEAS
I have a few hints that may help you with your Senior Dog and his management and make his or her life a little more comfortable.
Here I am in my blue Winter Neoprene Jacket. It's made out of  wetsuit like material, keeps me warm and doesn't absorb water.  Great for those cold windy or wet days.
As we get older stooping over to reach our bowls is a real pain and makes us unstable so raising the bowl on a bucket or stool makes eating a pleasure again.
These wooden decks and shiny floors sure are slippery.
Al trims the fur on my pads with and old beard trimmer on an electric shaver. It makes a big difference to my slipping and sliding.
This is my thermostatically heated insulated kennel where Al would like me to sleep!!  Stray cats sometimes stay the night in the warm....but not me!
This is where I prefer to sleep on the bark under Als boat cover. Since I am stubborn Al has had to deepen the bark so it is raised above the ground and stays dry and keeps me insulated from  the cold.
